1. Purpose
This Listing Policy sets minimum quality and integrity standards for business listings appearing on MEREPAAS.
2. Eligible Businesses
Listings should represent genuine businesses, professionals or service providers that can reasonably be discovered or contacted by users.
3. Genuine Business Information
Submitted information should be truthful, relevant and connected to the business being represented.
4. Business Name Standards
Use the real-world business or professional name. Avoid unnecessary keywords, false claims, misleading locations or promotional text in the business name field.
5. Correct Categories
Choose categories that accurately describe the business's primary activity or services.
6. Address / Service Area
Provide a genuine address or service area where appropriate. Do not use misleading addresses solely to gain visibility in locations where the business does not operate.
7. Contact Information
Phone numbers, websites and other contact details should belong to the business or authorized representative and should be kept current.
8. Business Hours
Where business hours are provided, they should reasonably reflect the hours when customers can expect the business to be available.
9. Duplicate Listings
Duplicate listings for the same business and location may be reviewed, merged, restricted or removed.
10. Fake or Misleading Listings
Fabricated businesses, impersonation, deceptive identities, fake contact information or misleading service claims are not permitted.
11. Restricted / Prohibited Content
Listings must not contain unlawful, dangerous, abusive, deceptive, infringing or otherwise prohibited content.
12. Photos and Logos
Only upload photos, logos and media that the submitter is authorized to use. Images should accurately represent the business and must not mislead users.
13. Business Verification
Verification may help indicate that certain business details or ownership signals have been checked. A verification badge is not a guarantee of product quality, service quality, safety or customer satisfaction.
14. Claim My Business
A person claiming an existing listing may be asked to provide appropriate information or complete verification steps before control is granted.
15. User Reports
Users may report incorrect, duplicate, misleading or inappropriate listings. Reports may be reviewed before action is taken.
16. Listing Updates
Businesses are encouraged to keep important details accurate. MEREPAAS may update information where reliable corrections are available.
17. Listing Removal
A listing may be removed, restricted or hidden if it violates policies, presents material risk, is fraudulent or is no longer suitable for the platform.
18. Premium / Featured Listings
Paid visibility, featured placement or promotional status does not exempt any listing from this policy and does not represent a guarantee or endorsement.
19. Policy Enforcement
Repeated or serious violations may result in removal, loss of verification or promotional status, or account restrictions.
